About Us

Friendship Community Development Corporation, (FCDC), is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, established in 1998, by the membership of Friendship Baptist Church, to focus on programs benefiting the surrounding community. It is headquartered at Friendship House, 955 State Street, Schenectady, NY 12307.

FCDC is committed to improving the lives of youth in the community through one-on-one mentoring and after-school tutoring and enrichment programs. By improving the lives of our youth, we hope to improve the lives of the entire family. The agency continues to gain success in serving our community in various services and activities.

The mission of FCDC is to serve the community through innovative caring programs, which uplift the entire community. Our primary objective is to have a positive impact on the education and development of our youth and to help them become contributing adult citizens.
