I met my fiancé on a Saturday night about five years ago when the most beautiful
man I'd ever seen walked into the restaurant I was working in. He was with his best
friend and they didn't have a dinner reservation and it was the busiest time of night
at one of the city's busiest restaurants, but I sat them right away regardless.
After that, I headed back to the hostess stand and immediately started gushing about
how beautiful that man was. Not even two minutes later, the phone at the hostess stand
rang and it was him. I looked over to see him across the restaurant with his phone to his ear,
and I heard him say, "It's Sam. Let me take you out tonight to thank you for seating
us so quickly." The rest is history.
